Event Details

This training will give background into human trafficking (HT) and commercial sexual exploitation (CSE) as seen in Philadelphia and specifically Kensington. We will have interactive conversations about trauma, information about the HT law, and role play for instances in the drop in. We will discuss the day to day operations for the drop in center and prepare each of you for your time there as a volunteer. This training is a full day with lots of information, so we will be sure to make it as interactive and applicable as possible!
If at the end of the training you do not think volunteering with the women is a good fit for you, we can always find other ways for you to get involved! Please still get your clearances so you can volunteer with The Salvation Army!

We look forward to meeting each of you!
