About Southwest Philadelphia
The southwest end of Philly is also described as everything below Baltimore Avenue. This area is largely diverse and still suffers from hard economic times. The Philadelphia Airport is in this district. As such, there are a growing number of community development groups working on helping the area grow and keep up with the rest of the city.
