The Rail Park

One of the best park in philadelphia, pennsylvania. Walking & biking along a disused train line & viaduct converted into a landscaped nature trail. Phase one of the rail park is part of a larger vision for three miles of linear park and pathway along the historic reading railroad. Friends of the rail park is advocating for the expansion of the rail park, to extend through 10+ vibrant philadelphia neighborhoods from northern liberties to brewerytown. The vision for the rail park began with phase one: a ¼ mile stretch of park and pathway that opened in 2018 and serves the Chinatown, callowhill, and poplar neighborhoods.
