Elfreth's Alley was opened in 1702 and has housed thousands of working class Philadelphians over 300 years. This is a great place to experience what life has been like living in Philadelphia. With the 32 houses still privately owned and occupied, this is one of Americas oldest, continuosly habitated streets. The museum is located at 126 Elfreth Alley and is the only house open to the public since all the other houses are privately occupied.
