The NABA Philadelphia Chapter would like to invite you to our 2019 MLK Day of Service!
Every year, we strive to honor Dr. King through service and volunteering in our community. This year, our day of service activity will be a community beautification project that will benefit some very deserving students in West Philadelphia.
So please join us as we paint and restore the gym of Andrew Hamilton Elementary School. The goal is to provide our future leaders with a safe and nurturing environment, that supports their learning and development.
Breakfast, pizza and light refreshments will be provided. Please wear clothing you do not mind getting paint on and closed toe shoes. The agenda for the day is listed below. We hope to see you there!
Agenda
8:00am - 9:45am - Volunteers meet at University of Penn; Houston Hall, Hall of Flags for the Day of Service breakfast.
9:45am - 10:00am - Volunteers load buses and are driven to the Hamilton School, 5640 Spruce St, 19139.
10:00am - 12:30pm – Volunteers report to paint duty in the gym.
12:30pm - 1:00pm - Volunteers clean-up, have pizza and get their MLK Day of Service tee shirt!
