Chase Books Hosts the Saint Francis Xavier Book Drive

As we are in the midst of another school year, it is important that students have access to stories that inspire them to read. St. Francis Xavier graduate, and children's book author, John Butler is accomplishing that goal with his Chase Books series. John's stories, written for readers up to age seven, feature African-American characters that all children can relate to.
During this book drive for St. Francis Xavier students, supporters of childhood literacy will have the opportunity to donate any amount that they wish from September 9th through October 31st. At the end of October, 100% of all donations will be used to provide St. Francis Xavier students with books to start their own libraries at home. Included will be autographed copies of John's latest book, Chase Learns to Share. Here's a look at just how far your support can go:
$5 donation provides a child with 1 book
$25 donation ensures that every child will receive three books
$300 donation provides books for an entire class.
