In 2005 with the the release of the Carter 2 Dwayne Michael Carter Jr exclaimed that he was the Best Rapper Alive! Lil Wayne (AKA Weezy/Lil Tunechi/Tune) outworked the rap community gaining global recognition as the best in the game.
Event Details
With an extensive list of projects that no one can accurately count Mr. Carter elevated the mixtape culture while simultaneously becoming a staple in Pop Culture. In 2009 Lil Wayne release his critically acclaimed mixtape NO CEILINGS. In this mixtape Lil Wayne would exhibit intense vocal control, precise rhyme patters, and witty metaphors, all overtop of some of our favorite beats that were already hit songs! With over 1 Million mixtape downloads on DatPiff alone, No Ceilings stands as Wayne’s best body of work to date! This year we will celebrate the 10 year anniversary of this classic tape! Our gallery space will feature Lil Wayne based artworks and limited pieces curated to match the tracklist of the Mixtape. Throughout the exhibit we will feature 2 different musical acts playing all the WEEZY HITS!!!!
