Kid’s Father’s Day Fishing Derby SUNDAY, JUNE 19, 2022 - PEACE VALLEY PARK, ANGLER’S PIER, CREEK ROAD, NEW BRITAIN, PA
Event Details
An event for families with children between the ages of 5 and 15 years old.
Rules and Guidelines:
• Pre- Registration required on or before June 15, 2022 to get goodie bag.• All PA Fish and Boat Rules and Laws apply. Fishing license not required for youth under 16. Parents are not permitted to fish for their children.• Check-in from 7:45 AM- 8:30 AM to receive ID tag.• ID tag must be visible during event.• “Goodie bags” given to first 100 pre-registrants.• Must be registered to qualify for awards.• “Start Fishing” @ 8:30 AM• “Stop Fishing” @ 10:30 AM• Awards @ 10:45 AM• Ages 5 to 15 years eligible.• Fees: $10/child
Awards will be given for the following:
• 1st, 2nd, 3rd for longest fish in the following age categories: 5-7, 8-10,11-13,14-15
Grand Prize for Largest Fish Over All Age Categories
• In the event of a tie, fish weight may determine the winner.
Refreshments served- free coffee and donuts are available for all participating families! We also recommend packing your own snacks and beverages.
Extra Prize Raffle after awards announcement!
