The holiday season is a time to relive cherished traditions and for chestnut hill, there is no better tradition than spending a day enjoying the Christmas holiday house tour. This is the longest running holiday house Tour in Philadelphia.

Our annual tour features FIVE of the area’s loveliest historic homes decorated inside and out for the holidays. Recent tours included a charming cottage, a stately stone colonial, a colonial revival, a second empire twin, and a Norman country house.
Attendees have the option of riding our event trolley from stop to stop or visiting at their own pace in this self-guided tour. Many Chestnut Hill restaurants and shops will offer special discounts for tour attendees.
This event is a major fundraiser for the Chestnut Hill Community Association and helps support our popular free programs like our Pastorius Park Concerts, Chestnut Hill Community Holiday Parade, and Movies Under the Stars.

It is maintained through the volunteer vigilance of the CHCA’s Development Review Committees, including Land Use Planning and Zoning, and Streetscape.
