ANGELA WILLIAMSON - 3 Things To Being The BEST Volunteer Engagement Leader!
Join Angela in an expedition:
Where are you going?
What do you need?
Who is coming with you?
She’ll share practical ideas, tips, and hints and give you time to share what works for you as well! Sharpen your pencil or charge up your device and come to learn, share, and be engaged. This is an interactive experience! We’ll have time for you to start some homework too. Angela looks forward to an engaging time with you!
Angela Williamson, CVA is the Volunteer and Community Relations Specialist at the Blood Bank of Delmarva where she is renewing, re-developing, and expanding volunteer engagement and increasing community awareness. She has been a long time blood donor and is thrilled to be working in and supporting this life saving organization. She was the Volunteer Manager at Hagley Museum and Library for 11 years where she grew and advanced the volunteer program into the digital age, involved staff in volunteer management, and created systems enabling volunteers to assist with many of the volunteer office and museum tasks and events. Prior to Hagley she worked several years in three different areas of the Longwood Gardens Education Department. She loves to spend time with her beloved husband, create an edible home garden, and visit the shore or beach. Coming from Nebraska originally, she enjoys a good football game and wide open spaces. She feels blessed to have found “what I want to do when I grow up” being in the volunteer leader field.
