Tiger Strikes Asteroid Philadelphia is an artist-run and artist-curated exhibition space located at 319A North 11th Street, Suite 2H. We are part of the Tiger Strikes Asteroid network along with other independently-run spaces located in New York and Los Angeles. TSA Philadelphia's mission is to foster connections between the Philadelphia art scene and the global art community. We focus on bringing together a diverse mix of emerging and mid-career artists from Philadelphia and beyond through exhibitions and curatorial opportunities. Our exhibitions have been featured in numerous print and online publications including the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Art Blog, Title Magazine, and Two Coats of Paint. Projects outside our regular exhibition schedule have included 2013's Citywide initiative, Tiger Strikes Museum at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the 2014 (e)merge Art Fair in Washington, DC.
